Balanced Meals Made Out of Thanksgiving Leftover

Looking for a healthier alternative to dessert for Valentine’s Day? Try this chocolate mousse dip that tastes great, is low in fat, and in low-sugar!

Chocolate Mousse Dip

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz fat free cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • ¾ cup light whipped topping
  • ¼ granulated sweetener of choice. ex.) Splenda or stevia
  • -Recipe add-ins: 1 tbsp peanut butter powder, 1 tbsp sugar free chocolate jello mix, or top with sugar free chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in large mixing bowl except for the whipped topping. Use hand mixer to combine ingredients until smooth.
  • Fold in whipped topping.
  • Refrigerate for 1 hour or until desired consistency.Pair dip with fresh apple slices or sliced strawberries.
